We all need a good back crack or massage now and then. For those in the Woodland area, Woodland Chiropractic Wellness Clinic is the place to go. And they turn away nobody. Unique in this field, Dr. Bobbie Hemmelman’s practice offers services to the entire family. Infants, elderly patients, and athletes alike are happily treated.

Although, getting treatment has been a bit more difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. While Hemmelman has been able to keep the doors open, business has slowed considerably.

But that isn’t stopping her from passing it on in her community and that is why she joined Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. With Columbia Bank paying the bill, Woodland Chiropractic Wellness Clinic is offering free services to those truly doing the heavy lifting – teachers and students forced to adapt on-the-fly to continue teaching and learning remotely. “They are under unimaginable demands to balance the physical health of our young people with their social and emotional health as well. I am sure it becomes overwhelming at times and yet they continue on for the sake of the kids,” she said.

Hemmelman hopes that joining Columbia Bank and passing it on becomes the norm and will strengthen our communities moving forward.
