If you’ve ever wondered if the hosts on HGTV shows are real contractors and not just actors, Luke Caldwell, owner of Timber and Love would like a word. As both the owner of one of the prime housing renovators in the Treasure Valley and co-host of a renovation show, Luke is the real deal both on the job site and in front of the camera.

Of course, the impacts from the pandemic have been all too real to many contractors and builders. “It’s been challenging,” says Caldwell, “but we’ve really stepped our efforts. We walk through homes in full PPE gear and our team is tested weekly to ensure the safety of our clients, team and subcontractors.”

Knowing the care Timber and Love put into the community, Columbia Bank saw an ideal partner in them for the Pass It On Project. “With Columbia picking up the tab, we are purchasing a heating and cooling unit for a family whose husband and father suddenly passed away in September,” he says. “We are very hopeful we will be able to make a difference for this family as they try to put their lives back together.”
