The Fork at Agate Bay, located in Bellingham, Washington, honors the maritime tradition of the city with an amazing seafood menu and even has an historic racing skull hanging in the dinning room. “We love providing great food for our diners and we love the seaside community of Bellingham,” says owner Paul Lawrence.
With local and statewide lockdowns in place during the pandemic, the restaurant suffered early. “It was really hard in the beginning, with so much uncertain, but we are getting back to normal,” says Lawrence. “Amazingly, we are now close to being back to our revenue from 2019.”
With hard times seemingly behind them, Lawrence and team are excited to partner with Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project to help others still struggling. That is why The Fork at Agate Bay is providing gift cards to several community organizations and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “We are passing it on to several amazing organizations including The Boys & Girls Club, the Whatcom County Humane Society and Blue Skies for Children,” he says. “ With Columbia Bank picking up the tab, we are going to help spread this great gift around our in our community.”
