Tehama Family Fitness Center has been catering to the fitness needs of people in Red Bluff, California, and the greater Tehama County area since 2001. “We provide a full-service fitness center which offers a variety of programs and services for members of all ages,” says Ed Stroman, one of Tehama’s owners.

Providing all those services, however, took a downward turn during the worst of the pandemic and the fitness center is working feverishly to recover. “COVID had a significant impact on our business as we were forced to close our doors for several months,” says co-owner Aubrie Thomas. “Luckily, the number of customers continues to rise and hopefully we will back to ‘normal’ soon.”

As they continue to ramp up their business, the owners of Tehama Fitness want to kickstart a healthier 2022 for several community members. Partnering with Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project, Tehama Fitness is providing free fitness services to local women and youth and Columbia Bank is covering the bill. “We are passing it on by providing services to women and children who don’t have the resources they need to exercise,” says co-owner Kyle Tingley. “With Columbia Bank picking up the tab, we hope to provide a healthy and productive outlet for people in the area.”
