A multi-generational farm, Sterino Farms of Puyallup, Washington has served the community for decades, selling their produce and berries to local businesses as well as operating a produce market for local food lovers throughout the region.

“We’ve been fortunate to have been able to stay open during the pandemic,” says owner, Jake Sterino. “While restaurants and stores have ordered less product due to lockdowns, we have been able to continue operations.”

Feeling quite lucky, Sterino Farms wants to help others who have not fared as well and that is why they are partnering with Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. Helping those that help others, Sterino Farms is providing food to local churches who distribute the food to those in need, and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “We are passing it on by providing much needed food to two local churches who are distributing it to people in the community,” says Sterino. “With Columbia Bank’s help, we are providing our fresh food to help those who are struggling.”
