From basic puppy training, to behavioral correction classes, to K9 sports training, Sparks K9 Services in Monroe, Washington is the place to take your dog for any and all training needs. Owned and operated by veterans, Sparks is not just the perfect training class for dog owners in Western Washington, but they even provide distance learning sessions for owners overseas.

In fact, distance learning helped owner, Kim Sparks prepare for the pandemic. “We had to do a lot of adjusting from limited in-person classes, to online training, to a whole new set of sanitation practices,” she says.

When Sparks heard about Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project, she knew she had to get involved. As a life-long obedience trainer, Sparks knows the best gift she can provide is the gift of training. That is why Sparks K9 Services is providing free training services to a client in need and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “We are passing it on by providing free lessons to a customer who really needs help with their dog but doesn’t have the funds,” says Sparks. “Training is a key connection between owner and dog, and with Columbia Bank’s help, we are going to provide that connection to a customer in need.”
