Things have been rolling along nicely for Ron’s Tires and Automotive in Spokane over the past few years. What started out as a small tire and repair shop in 2010, has grown to a successful and well-known local business with a full-time crew of seven employees. Vic Murphy, the shop’s owner, attributes his success to outstanding customer service and a firm commitment to doing the job right the first time. Additionally, Vic and crew run a very friendly and welcoming operation where customers waiting for their vehicles are often treated to a warm greeting from Tabitha, the stray cat that now calls Ron’s home.

While the shop has taken a hit recently, due to the decreased business from customers deferring purchases and maintenance during the pandemic, Vic and his team have not slowed down in doing the right thing for the community. “Even though we’ve had to sacrifice a bit during this challenging time, there are many other people who sacrifice so much more,” says Vic.

To provide support to those very individuals, Ron’s Tires and Automotive is Passing It On to local military veterans by giving free tire and brake service to members of the Spokane Valley Veterans Center. With help from Columbia Bank, Ron’s Tires and Automotive is making sure that those who served our country don’t need to worry about deferring critical maintenance on their vehicles. It’s part of the shops commitment to doing the job right.  We think Tabitha would agree.
