Having served four U.S. Presidents, the Pomegranate Bistro & Lisa Dupar Catering know all about creating a very special meal. “We don’t mean to brag, but for 35 years, we’ve served amazing meals to some of the most influential people in the world,” says owner, Lisa Dupar.

Unfortunately, the global pandemic doesn’t care about prestige or who your customers may be. “We have lost hundreds of employees and hundreds of thousands in lost revenue,” says Dupar. “Despite our success over the years, this is not sustainable for us.”

In spite of such hardship, Dupar and her team are not content to simply ride out the hard times without looking to help others – and that’s why she is partnering with Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. Looking to help teens in need, Pomegranate Bistro & Lisa Dupar Catering is providing resources to a local shelter that helps homeless teens and Columbia Bank is covering the bill. “We are passing it on to New Horizons Ministries,” Dupar says. “They provide shelter for homeless teens and it has long be a favorite organization of mine. With Columbia Bank’s help, we are going to make sure the most vulnerable youth get the support they desperately need.”
