If you come to Pizza Rita (named after owner Brian Dickmann’s eldest daughter) you’d better come hungry. The Spokane eatery is famous for making a five-pound pizza loaded to the very edge with every topping imaginable.

Like many restaurants, the pandemic has cut into their slice of the business. They have four locations around town, and one of these pizzerias has seen a 75% drop-off in business.

As a solid member of the community however, they didn’t want to just stay on the sidelines. They knew even with their own businesses hardships they could join Columbia Bank’s Pass it On Project and help others who have been negatively impacted. “When someone does something nice for you, you do something nice for another,” says Dickmann. “That’s why we are passing it on by providing gift certificates to patrons of our local Salvation Army. With Columbia Bank picking up the tab, we are helping to provide a little joy in the lives of folks who need a hand.”
