Whether you have a couple of backyard chickens, or a stable of horse worth millions of dollars, NV Feed of Molalla, Oregon can meet your needs. “We are much more than a feed store,” says owner Todd Gary. “We will help you with your animal nutrition needs and do everything necessary to make sure your animals are healthy and happy.”

What hasn’t been a happy situation of course, is the negative effects of COVID on businesses such as NV Feed. “We had to lay off an employee and our sales have been hit pretty hard,” says Gary. “We’ve also been impacted by the fact that the national supply of feed has been slowed.”

Yet, providing support for customers – especially those with major needs such as ranches and farms – is in the store’s DNA and that is why they are participating in Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. With the goal of supporting the farming community, NV Feed is providing resources to the local Future Farmers of America chapters and Columbia Bank is covering the cost. “We are passing it on to three of our local chapters of the Future Farmers of America (FAA) chapters,” says Gary. “With Columbia Bank’s support, we are going to help an organization that is not only central to our lives, but to the lives of countless farmers around the county and around the nation.”
