Sam Le, Madison Home

Madison Home is a family-owned artisan furniture retailer in Spokane, Washington. The company sells beautiful, custom built heirloom furniture pieces at its 15,000 square foot downtown showroom. For 20 years, the Le family – Sam, Tammy and Lam – have provided Eastern Washington with the finest quality American made furniture featuring top-quality hardwoods, leathers and fabrics. The family operates under the guiding principle that every piece they sell is something they would want in their own home. Sam, who immigrated from Viet Nam, has dedicated his life to giving back to the community – both in his native country and his new home in Washington.

For three months, Madison Home was forced to close its showroom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While this disruption took a toll on business, Sam and his family quickly responded by setting up virtual appointments so that they could still sell furniture using technology. The business is also fortunate to have so many repeat customers and referrals who trust in the craftsmanship of Madison Home’s products without actually having to touch or feel the quality.

As someone who greatly believes and participates in community outreach, Sam and his family are enthusiastically participating in the Pass It On Project. Madison Home is designing and donating a study center, complete with desk and chair to the Northeast Youth Center. The Center provides critical education and recreational opportunities to more than 500 at-risk youth throughout the Spokane area every month. For many of these children, the Northeast Youth Center provides the only safe and friendly space in their lives and Madison Home’s furniture will go a long way toward making the space even more comfortable and inviting. With Columbia Bank’s help, Sam and the entire Madison Home team are passing on support for the community that has welcomed them for the past two decades.
