With amazing and unique Mexican cuisine like their famous Fish with Mango and margaritas renowned throughout northern Idaho, Jalapeño’s Mexican Restaurant has been a local favorite for more than 20 years.

Like many restaurants, the pandemic hit Jalapeño’s hard as they were forced to close for several months during lock down orders from the state. And as a dine-in favorite amongst Sandpoint residents, their take-out traffic was less than ideal.

Despite their setbacks, the restaurant owners and staff were not going to just close down the kitchen. Instead, they are Passing It On by providing lunch or dinner for medical and support staff Bonner General Health in Sandpoint. “This is our way of saying thanks for all they’ve done during the pandemic,” says, owner Justin Dick. With Columbia Bank picking up the check, Jalapeño’s is Passing It On with support and amazing food to those who help the community.
