For more than 35 years, Great Harvest PDX Bread Company has been delighting customers with that fresh baked bread aroma and the wonderful taste of homemade pastries, cookies and made-to-order sandwiches. This family owned downtown location provides a warm and inviting experience to people throughout the metro area.

What wasn’t inviting however, was the global pandemic which created havoc in the food service industry. “COVID-19 hit our business hard,” says owner Jamey Taylor. “Our business has been down about 70%, but baking is our passion, and we believe we will weather this difficult time.”

Taylor and his crew also have a passion for helping others and that’s why Columbia Bank knew they’d be perfect for the Pass It On Project. Great Harvest PDX Bread Co. is providing baked goods to the Outside In organization and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “They are opening a new food pantry due to the pandemic and we want to help them, help those in dire need. With Columbia Bank picking up the check, we will help Outside In continue to make a big difference in our community,” says Taylor
