An amazingly eclectic boutique, Fiddlesticks in Yakima, Washington specializes in home décor, women’s fashion, and gourmet food and baby gifts. “Our store is unique, but it has been a favorite of people in Yakima for a long time,” says owner Michele Sink. “We’ve been here for 44 years and we know and love our customers.”

Like so many other great local shops, the pandemic has been especially harsh. “We have had to scale back our operations and reduce staff,” says Sink. “In all the time we’ve been here, we’ve never experienced anything like this.”

Yet the need for eclectic and unique has never been more important, and that is why Fiddlesticks is partnering with Columbia Bank’s Pass in On Project. Wanting to help the community she loves, Fiddlesticks is providing gift baskets to those in need and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “With funds provided by Columbia we are passing it on to families in need,” says Sink. “We are putting together gift baskets of items and the bank will be distributing them to customers who need a lift. It’s a great partnership and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”
