For Francisco Ramirez and Guadalupe Cruz, owners of El Paisa Mexican Food in Cour ‘dAlene, Idaho, food is their life. They have been serving outstanding Mexican cuisine for 20 years and their customers adore their spicy and authentic faire.

Like many restaurants, the pandemic was difficult for the two restauranteurs. They had to readjust to take-out options are only recently able to welcome patrons back into the restaurant.

Despite their own hardship, the two want to help their community and that is why there are partnering with Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. Wanting to help those that help others in their community, El Paisa Mexican Food is providing their renowned tacos to first responders throughout the area, free of charge, and Columbia Bank is covering the tab. By passing it on to people who help others in need, they hope to inspire more community members to give back.
