According to Brian Wight, owner of Dutch Brothers Coffee in Boise, Idaho, “Coffee is what we do, but not who we are. We are a relationship business making people’s day better one cup of coffee and one smile at a time.”

Wight also sees the crisis of the pandemic as a unifying event for his team and customers. “It has definitely brought us all together and made us stronger,” he says. “It’s also showed us the power of looking after one another.”

Taking care of his customers is also a big part of Wight’s philosophy and that’s why Columbia Bank knew he would be a perfect partner for the Pass It On Project. Dutch Brothers Coffee of Boise is giving free coffee to customers and Columbia Bank is picking up the tab. “We will be providing free coffee to some customers via a social media giveaway,” he says. “Now, more than ever is the time to come together as a community, and with Columbia Bank’s help, we are going to do our part.”
