Bron’s Automotive of Olympia, Washington is no stranger to helping out in the community. “We work a lot with Safe Place Family Support and Education Services here in Olympia,” says owner Joe Crider. “We provided pro bono car repairs for them and in turn they are able to keep doing their amazing work.”

Like many other businesses, the pandemic has cut deeply into Bron’s business as less people are driving due to stay-at-home mandates. “We’ve seen the economic slowdown affect us and everyone we know,” says Crider.

Now that things are starting to open, Crider and team want to help people get on the move, and that’s why Crider’s banker asked them to join in on Columbia Bank’s Pass It On Project. Doing what they do best, Bron’s Automotive is providing free car repairs to customers that need a helping hand and Columbia Bank is covering the bill. “We are passing it on to our customers who need car repairs but can’t afford them,” he says. “We are excited to be able to help our clients, and with Columbia Bank’s gift, we will make sure they can use their car to get where they need to go.”
