For residents of Roseville, California who have a creative itch that needs scratching, AR Workshop offers a unique remedy. A DIY boutique art studio that specializes in stencil-work, AR Workshop provides the tools and expertise to help anyone become an artist. “We provide art instructors and a wonderful space so that friends, family, or coworkers can join together and create something beautiful,” says owner Mary Little.

“AR Workshop acts as both a serious art studio and a community gathering place,” says Little. “Sometimes being creative takes the right combination of instruction and inspiration and coming together with others sometimes takes the right combination of space and motivation. I hope we provide all of that.”

When Little and her team were approached by their local banker and asked to participate in Columbia Bank’s Pass It On project, they were thrilled and knew the perfect way to help others. Knowing everybody needs a fun and creative release during these difficult times, AR Workshop is providing gift cards to customers and Columbia Bank is paying the bill. “We are passing it on by providing gift cards to our customers,” says Little. “With Columbia Bank’s financial support, we hope to introduce more people to DIY art by helping customers bring along their friends and neighbors who are looking to find a creative avenue.”
